AT ROBERT F. WAGNER SECONDARY SCHOOL FOR ARTS AND TECHNOLOGY, STUDENTS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE ADVANCED PLACEMENT (AP) COURSES THAT PREPARE THEM FOR COLLEGE-LEVEL STUDIES AND CAN EARN THEM COLLEGE CREDIT. OUR CURRENT AP COURSE OFFERINGS INCLUDE:

  • CALCULUS AB
    STUDENTS LEARN THE FUNDAMENTALS OF DIFFERENTIAL AND INTEGRAL CALCULUS, INCLUDING LIMITS, DERIVATIVES, AND INTEGRALS, TO PREPARE FOR MORE ADVANCED MATH STUDIES.

 

  • COMPUTER SCIENCE PRINCIPLES
    AN INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTATIONAL THINKING, PROBLEM-SOLVING, AND PROGRAMMING, FOCUSING ON HOW COMPUTING AND TECHNOLOGY IMPACT THE WORLD.

 

  • ENGLISH LITERATURE & COMPOSITION
    STUDENTS EXPLORE A VARIETY OF LITERARY WORKS, ANALYZING THEM THROUGH DISCUSSION AND WRITING TO DEVELOP CRITICAL THINKING AND WRITING SKILLS.

 

  • ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE
    THIS COURSE COVERS THE INTERRELATIONSHIPS IN THE NATURAL WORLD, INCLUDING TOPICS IN ECOLOGY, BIODIVERSITY, POLLUTION, AND HUMAN IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT.

 

  • PHYSICS
    STUDENTS STUDY FUNDAMENTAL CONCEPTS OF PHYSICS, SUCH AS MECHANICS, ELECTRICITY, AND MAGNETISM, TO BUILD A SOLID FOUNDATION IN SCIENTIFIC PRINCIPLES AND PROBLEM-SOLVING.

 

  • UNITED STATES HISTORY
    AN IN-DEPTH EXPLORATION OF U.S. HISTORY, COVERING MAJOR EVENTS, THEMES, AND FIGURES FROM COLONIAL TIMES TO THE PRESENT, WITH A FOCUS ON CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF HISTORICAL SOURCES.
